While waiting in the car line at the school to pick up Bella yesterday Natalie was asking permission to do something she KNEW just yesterday I said no to. Here is our conversation.
N: Do you think I could do that today Mommy do you? Its REALLY fun. I really like to.
Me: Well, I don't know.
N: Please Mommy it makes me happy.
Me: Remember yesterday when Mommy said "no"?
N: Yes, but say "you CAN" - do you remember THAT word Mommy?
