Hoppy Easter!

When we arrived home today from a short (about 36 hour) visit to TX (more to come on that later) we opened the door to find that a visitor had been at our house.

Everywhere we looked there was a trail of jelly beans showing us where he'd been.

He even checked out the girl's new Easter shoes!

And of course, he left behind eggs to find and goodies for all.

Natalie kept saying, "This is the best Easter day ever!" It was pretty fun.

P.S. The TRUE story? Made small to warn you from keeping little believing eyes from reading. No, we did not leave jelly beans on our carpet for 2 days while we left town! Grandma and Grandpa actually stayed at our house over night while we were gone to Texas. They needed a place to stay here for one night so in return for our hospitality they did us a favor by playing Easter bunny. We provided the stuff, they provided the surprise. The girls never even know Grandma and Grandpa were here, and now all the talk in our house is over where the Easter Bunny lives (we're deciding between Bunny Mountain and Bunny Town, and how on earth he got into the house).
