Sunday evening I randomly decided to make cookies. The kids were so excited that they set up pillows and blankets near the oven and watched them bake. The girls watched them the entire time they baked...Ethan lost interest soon after, BUT not before he said another very important word. "Cookie." It was so cute. Too bad he went to bed before he could have one...maybe in the morning.

(As I said, Ethan gave up waiting, but he didn't go far, these toys are about 5ft from the oven and he played all the while saying, "Cookie, cookie." Maybe it was mean to put him to bed before they were cooled enough to eat...but he didn't protest. And there are plenty for the morning.)
