It would never get old...

Seeing a shuttle launch is not anything I ever really gave much thought to before moving to Florida. I watched them as a kid, back when everyone did. I can remember being really young and my teacher actually showing them on the TV's in our classroom. I also remember very well watching the Challenger. BUT, I never really entertained the idea of ever witnessing one.

Despite the fact that I've never been THAT close (as in at one of the viewing places, although I tried for one of them), I get excited anytime I hear that a shuttle or rocket will be taking off. This evening I read this. I went to work trying to discover when it was set to launch. After a quick google I learned I had just 45 minutes before the launch. So instead of reading stories tonight - we watched the shuttle. Here is what we saw:

Seriously, seeing this would never get old.
